CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Tennant Service & Inspection Team in Birmingham, AL, where you'll help deliver highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions for commercial and industrial buildings. Conduct inspections and testing of wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems to identify and address issues or deficiencies, following NFPA 25 requirements
• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and test results in accordance with NFPA codes and standards
• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs to ensure optimal system performance

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• NICET Level II in Inspections and Testing of Water-Based Fire Sprinkler Systems preferred, or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Working knowledge of the fire protection industry, including NFPA standards and local codes
• Strong documentation, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a positive customer service attitude
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and willing to travel

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
