About the role:

A typical day will contain a variety of responsibilities with the primary one being payment monitoring. We process over 350 files daily domestically and internationally. Additional tasks will vary depending on audit schedules, support requests and project participation. Our team manages a variety of functions throughout a normal day that require proactive self-direction at times and a willingness to work cooperatively when working closely with team members at other times.

Please note: This position is full-time, with a required hybrid schedule, on-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Hours are:

Sunday 5 pm to 12 am; Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm to 12:00 am

About the team:

The Treasury Banking and Payments team is unique in the fact that we are a mixture of operational and technical responsibilities. Our operational side supports internal and external clients with both domestic ACH and international payment processing. Our technical side provides file specification and file transmission, and payment rules and regulation expertise. We must effectively communicate with a wide range of contacts from financial institutions, corporate executives and entry level support agents alike. Our team is diverse in experience, and we work well balancing each other's strengths and weaknesses. No task is too small for anyone on our team to complete.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitor daily ACH settlement and related files using an online monitoring tool.
  • Correspond with financial institutions, external and internal clients and support teams as needed to resolve processing issues.
  • Support internal and external clients with research and reconciliation inquiries.
  • Assist in maintaining department procedural and reference materials.
  • Proactively participate in various compliance audits, departmental projects and enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist in supporting access maintenance to over 50 internet banking portals company wide

  • Good technical aptitude including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective multitasking skills
  • Strong business analytical skills required
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience - Highschool or GED equivalent
  • Required work hours: Sunday (5PM EST to 12 AM EST) Monday through Thursday (2:30 PM EST to 12 AM EST
  • Overtime required: Not often required
  • Weekends required: Sunday (5PM EST to 12 AM EST)
  • Travel percentage for this role: 0
