Summary
Responsible for helping elders and other patients maintain a safe and clean home, including various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and companionship activities for clients in their homes. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Doing the weekly grocery shopping. -Setting and monitoring budgets. -Cleaning, cooking, and doing the laundry. -Scheduling and overseeing property maintenance. -Caring for children. -Advising household owners in housekeeping matters. -Staying up-to-date nutrition and hygiene. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Clinical/Hospital/Managed Care Office Experience 1-2 years preferred or Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledgeable in patient care practices, including personal care, homemaking, and basic health care services. - Ability to work with limited supervision. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Have good personal hygiene. - Able to do light housekeeping. - Good communication skills both written and oral.
