The Tradeshow and Event Marketing Manager at PENTAX Medical Americas is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tradeshows, medical conferences, industry events, and national and regional corporate programs. This role involves managing logistics, aligning event strategies with overall marketing goals, collaborating with sales and product teams, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. The Tradeshow and Events Marketing plays a key role in increasing the PENTAX Medical visibility within the healthcare industry, fostering customer engagement, and supporting lead generation through impactful events.
Responsibilities of
Tradeshow and Events Marketing Manager
:
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of customer and industry trade shows, as well as national and regional corporate events across the Americas.
- Translate the overall strategy and messaging through the design, logistics, vendor management, budget tracking, execution, and post-event analysis of each conference and event.
- Execute the event strategy, tactical plans, and project management from beginning to end, including all pre-event promotions, logistics, execution, and post-event follow-up with the support of the Product Management team and Trade Show booth vendor.
- Provide expertise with best practices of event participation to drive employee and attendee engagement and participation at tradeshows, meetings, and events by fine tuning experiential marketing.
- Stay up to date and drive new formats to position PENTAX Medical as a thought leader in the endoscopy space amongst the competition.
- Drive brand representation and consistency by working with the Senior Brand Manager and other marketing employees.
- Manage social strategy and execution for events program.
- Lead event promotional campaign using various channels, including email, advertising, web, and social media.
- Evaluate and recommend budgets and conferences according to business requirements, target audience and company objectives
- Evaluate and refine overall work systems and processes and implement best practices for lead generation and program management.
- Evaluate event performance, including KPIs and return on investment tracking and deliver wrap-up reports
- Key project support for field-based activities
- Support other marketing communications initiatives as necessary
- Support broader marketing communications initiatives and assist the Senior Brand Manager with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
Requirements of
Tradeshow and Events Marketing Manager
:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
- 5+ years of relevant marketing and healthcare education experience, National and Regional corporate event planning experience, including but not limited to executive meetings, trade shows, thought leadership, sales summits, and other ancillary events. (Experience in the Medical Device Marketing is preferred.)
- Demonstrated effective leadership of cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of FDA and government guidelines, and AdvaMed Code of Ethics on interactions with healthcare professionals
- Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation tools (Salesforce and Hubspot).
- Experience working on event marketing campaigns within social media platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
- Experience working within event management tools
- Strong network of event industry vendors and experts
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and project management skills
- Proven track record of building and producing strategic events that have a significant ROI
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects/events simultaneously
- Possess a robust network of event producers, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.
- Must be able to manage budgets and have experience negotiating with vendors
- Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines
- Experience excelling within fast-paced, high energy environments
- Ability to travel 15-20% of time
