At Ceres, every project begins with people who act decisively, think globally, and deliver results that matter.

As Chief Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of billion-dollar recovery and infrastructure programs. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead the estimating organization across multiple divisions, bringing precision, strategy, and innovation to every pursuit.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to develop competitive, data-driven bids that strengthen Ceres Global' s position as one of the industry's most respected and responsive organizations.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an accomplished Chief Estimator to lead our global estimating strategy across disaster recovery, civil infrastructure, and environmental programs.

This high-impact executive role will oversee all estimating operations, shape pricing intelligence, drive competitive strategy, and elevate Ceres' national and international bid capabilities.

You'll manage and mentor a high-performing team, guide billion-dollar opportunities, and ensure alignment between estimating, operations, and executive leadership, building a global platform for precision, growth, and impact.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute cost strategies that ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability in complex, multi-jurisdictional bids.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align estimating, operations, and finance on growth targets and pursuit strategies.
  • Guide national and international bids, ensuring compliance with FEMA, USACE, and global contracting frameworks.
  • Oversee bid governance, pricing validation, and preconstruction controls for large-scale public sector and private infrastructure projects.
  • Mentor and empower the estimating team, instilling precision, accountability, and innovation in every pursuit.
  • Engage in field assessments and data-driven forecasting to ensure bids reflect real-world execution conditions.
  • Analyze trends in construction costs, market dynamics, and disaster recovery funding to drive strategic intelligence.
  • Present bid recommendations and pricing rationales directly to the CEO and executive leadership board.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive estimating leadership in heavy civil, environmental, or infrastructure construction (federal/state experience preferred).
  • Proven track record in managing complex multi-million or billion-dollar bids and leading cross-functional estimating teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degree or PE license preferred).
  • Mastery of earthworks, heavy civil, and emergency response estimating, including FEMA and federal contracting programs.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling proficiency in Excel and estimating software systems.
  • Strategic communicator with the presence to engage executives, influence stakeholders, and represent Ceres at the highest level.
  • Willingness to travel to project and disaster sites to lead from the front and inform pricing strategy.

What to Expect

As Chief Estimator, you'll be the strategic cornerstone of Ceres Global's estimating operations, driving precision, speed, and scalability across one of the industry's most respected names.

You'll collaborate with decision-makers on projects that span continents, impact millions, and define resilience for the next generation.
