Schedule Options:

• 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Thursday
• 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM | Monday afternoon - Friday morning

Wabtec is hiring an experienced MIG Welder. Advance your career with this opportunity today.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG (GMAW) and FCAW welds with precision and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and weld symbols
• Complete required FCAW 3G CS vertical up and GMAW 3G CS vertical down weld tests prior to hire
• Inspect and verify dimensions and weld quality per specifications
• Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete job travelers, weld identification, and production documentation accurately
• Collaborate with teammates and assist in other production areas as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school certification preferred
• 3-5 years of welding experience, preferably with stainless steel
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shift(s) and overtime
• Physical ability to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the shift
