Main Duties & Responsibilities

Filler Technician ensures the equipment they build aligns precisely with the engineering specifications provided by the client. This requires a deep understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and other relevant documentation. By following these specifications diligently, the Filler Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that the final product meets the client's expectations and requirements.

  • Assemble mechanical devices including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and inspect assembled products for defects.
  • Read and interpret process documents, drawings, prints, diagrams, and /or schematics.
  • Light fabrication of machine parts.
  • Complete department paperwork.
  • Assist in creating procedures and train employees as needed.
  • All parts tracking and paperwork assigned to builder.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read Solid Works Drawings
  • Ability to read Electrical Drawing
  • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
  • Strong communications skills
  • Understand safe working practices
  • Work and collaborate as a team member
  • Good housekeeping skills
  • Fabrication Competency
  • Need ability to work efficiently and safely with fabrication equipment, including but limited to, Hand drill, drill press, sanders, grinder (hand-held and bench), band saw. Will need the ability to visualize the simplest solution to a problem and determine a solution.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Not Required but a plus. MIG / TIG Welding
