**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the design and implementation of compelling user-facing features for web applications.

* Architect scalable and maintainable frontend solutions that stand the test of time.

* Actively participate in and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.

* Drive initiatives to optimize frontend performance, delivering lightning-fast user experiences.

* Develop comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests to guarantee software reliability.

* Maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date technical documentation.

* Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and other cross-functional team members to deliver integrated solutions.

**Qualifications**

**Must-Have Qualifications**

* Deep expertise in frontend development, including React/Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (with experience in preprocessors like SASS/LESS).

* Proven experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.

* Proficiency in integrating with RESTful APIs.

* Strong command of AWS services, including Cloudfront, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, Eventbridge, MediaConvert, Translate, Transcribe, and Cloudwatch.

* Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.

* Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.

* Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn.

* Expertise in debugging using browser developer tools.

* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

* Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**

* Experience with GraphQL.

* Familiarity with Git/GitHub Actions.

* Exposure to AI tools, particularly cloud-based solutions.

* Understanding of event-based architecture.

* Experience in a startup environment or having built products from the ground up.

* A passion for working in fast-paced, loosely structured environments with minimal existing processes.

* Experience within advanced engineering teams, embracing both proactive and reactive approaches to change.

* Genuine passion for engineering and adaptability to evolving requirements.
