GENERAL SUMMARY

As a Pricing Intern at DeZURIK, you will play a key role in supporting the company's mission of delivering high-quality flow control solutions to customers across diverse industries. This position provides the opportunity to work closely with the pricing and commercial teams to ensure that product pricing strategies align with market dynamics, cost structures, and customer needs. By assisting with data analysis, preparing pricing models, and contributing to process improvements, the Pricing Intern will gain hands-on experience in how thoughtful pricing decisions drive profitability and strengthen DeZURIK's position as a global leader in innovative valve and control technologies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Assist the Pricing Analyst with product segmentation analysis to develop pricing that aligns with strategic business goals.
  • Review quote issues to determine solutions, working with other departments to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Review and adjust pricing on components to maintain a competitive product price.
  • Assist with developing data visualizations to communicate the impact of price adjustments across the business.
  • Assist the Pricing Analyst with development of analytical tools to be used in pricing evaluation to identify recommendations to improve future pricing actions.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarize pricing performance, margins, and recommendations.
  • Gain exposure to ERP and pricing software systems, learning how data and technology drive commercial excellence.
  • Participate in special projects focused on improving pricing processes, tools, and efficiency.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in or attending a 4-year Bachelor's Degree program in a business-related field. Prefer at least two years completed.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently with cross functional project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel/pivot tables, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Candidate should possess (or have strong interest in developing) skills in:

    • Project management
    • Analysis and problem-solving
    • Basic Manufacturing concepts; including blueprint reading and BOM structure.




WORK HOURS

  • Full-time schedule during summer between semesters.
  • Work times are flexible, but initially must occur between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. As internship progresses, work times may be considered outside the boundaries aforementioned.


EMPLOYMENT DATES

  • Summer 2026
  • Exit date will depend on the Intern's performance.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.
  • Position requires movement around the facilities.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots).

SALARY AND BENEFITS

DeZURIK offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00, based on experience and requirements of the role.
