Job Description

To provide project maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair support for the Morgantown facility. Repairs and maintains the operating condition of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts and pallet jacks

  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective or worn parts
  • Repairs and maintains the operating condition of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts and pallet jacks ranging from 2,000 to 70,000 lb
  • Basic rigging procedures may be required
  • Maintains and repairs all building systems, including forklifts, batteries, battery chargers, and battery watering system
  • Knowledge of Crown & Raymond equipment
  • Must train and respond to plant emergency issues within the guidelines of the PEO (Plant Emergency Operations)
  • Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
  • Perform multi-craft tasks associated with mobile maintenance
  • Handle preventive maintenance and equipment downtime situations and procedures
  • Identify the root cause of problems and countermeasures to prevent recurrence


This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
