Description and Requirements

Job Summary

The Business Analyst will be part of a small, high-performing team within Lenovo's Global Services and Solutions Group (SSG), driving the transformation of business processes and execution of offering strategies for system services. This role focuses on translating strategic business goals into actionable process improvements and system enhancements across Lenovo's enterprise hardware, software, and service solutions.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, analytical problem solver who can bridge business needs with technology solutions. They will collaborate globally across business units, ensuring end-to-end operational alignment for Lenovo's diverse customer segments and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business teams with data-driven insights by analyzing internal sales trends and market data.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and recommend improvement actions.
  • Conduct research and apply multidisciplinary statistical techniques to enhance business understanding of markets and operations.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive data models to inform strategic decisions.
  • Apply data-driven methodologies to improve customer journey efficiency.
  • Present findings and insights through compelling storytelling and clear visualizations to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver analytics, reporting, and implement data/analytics-driven improvements.
  • Drive adoption of analytical tools and promote a data-driven culture within technology business units.
  • Apply knowledge of business processes to identify issues, inefficiencies, and opportunities for transformation.
  • Manage the design and development of customized reports and dashboards using internal technical resources.
  • Participate in business process mapping, system testing, end-user training, and change management initiatives.
  • Support Agile release processes, collaborating with IT and functional teams to deploy enhancements effectively.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, process transformation, or data analytics.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, business modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into system or process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn by doing, take initiative, and adapt to change.
  • Experience working in global environments and flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones.
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Morrisville, North Carolina location

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and application release management.
  • Experience with enterprise-level hardware, software, and services solutions.
  • Understanding of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to explore new, non-standard business solutions where innovation is key.
