Purpose of the Job


The Marketing Creative Project Manager serves as the strategic liaison between internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external partners to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and creative projects. This role requires a strong understanding of creative production across print and digital media, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through completion.


Key Responsibilities


Client & Stakeholder Management



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business owners and internal teams, understanding their objectives and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and procurement teams.



Project Coordination & Execution



  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and creative projects.
  • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and resources using web-based workflow and proofing systems.
  • Facilitate meetings to review artwork, production specifications, and project milestones.
  • Ensure all creative assets meet brand guidelines and legal/compliance standards (e.g., copyright, FINRA).



Communication & Collaboration



  • Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and decisions to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and creative teams to ensure clear communication and efficient execution.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from internal and external partners.



Quality Assurance & Production Oversight



  • Review soft proofs for accuracy in content and layout.
  • Coordinate artwork releases to production teams or external vendors.
  • Monitor project performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.



Process & Resource Management



  • Lead process improvements to enhance project delivery and team collaboration.
  • Support vendor and freelance selection, including scope definition, budget tracking, and billing management.
  • Utilize project management tools to analyze resource allocation and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.



Knowledge, Skills + Experience



  • 5+ years of experience in marketing project management, creative production, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of print and digital media production.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and proofing tools (e.g., Workfront, InMotion, Asana).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
