The SCP Project Lead Role focuses on deploying project governance throughout the migration to our new Supply Chain Platform. We work closely with account owners to drive change management and recognize the impactful value drivers that come with migrating to our new operating system. We drive on-time task and milestone management throughout the migration journey using project management tools like Asana, while keeping conversations ground in data to highlight and mitigate risks to the project.

Role responsibilities:

  • Act as project lead for the internal teams & advocate as trusted partner within the Maersk organization
  • Partner with the CEN, Technology, Product, SME, CX and more teams to drive the project and ensure that requirements are met.
  • Accountable for the internal implementation / migration of the customer solution into the new platform
  • Must be able to speak consultatively with all members of the client and internal team(s), including client services, project management, IT, financial, product team members and senior management when necessary
  • Provide program management from medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs
  • Leads complex cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end using a formal process
  • Identify and hold operational leadership accountable to the client's program deliverables
  • Maintain & improve internal satisfaction levels with Voice of Key Stakeholders
  • Facilitates meetings to review performance, strategy, projects, and future growth alignment
  • Collaborates with core team to develop solutions and lead project team(s) through implementation and completion
  • Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies
  • Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with our company's values
  • Create lockstep alignment with commercial counterpart on account initiatives, strategy, and deliverables
  • Partake in setting team's objectives and proactively provide recognition and feedback
  • Adapt communication style when working with all levels of the organization
  • Lead and influence various client teams of the organization across business units
  • Participate in workstreams and high impact project opportunities aimed to improve our community's quality of work experience

Required experience:

  • Bachelor Science degree preferably in Business/Supply Chain
  • 8+ years relevant experience with a proven track record in operational management
  • Understanding and passion for driving Operational Excellence and Value Creation in the business
  • SCM processes and process mapping
  • Excellent ability to build relationship with customer and internal stakeholder
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and drive outcomes with influence decision makers
  • Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others
  • Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenges
  • Exposure and understanding of Business Improvement / Lean tools
  • Excellent communication and influence skills
  • Ability to interface with regional and globally management teams
  • Being a team member supporting the global/regional/country teams proactively
  • Ability to build strong effective networks
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify activities

This role allows the selected candidate to work from home 2 days per week as part of our flexible work policy.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
