Job Description

Elwyn seeks a Program Support Staff to provide general/ad hoc assistance to program team staff in the Family Empowerment Services (FES) program. Tasks include assisting with data entry for reports, assisting with school interaction to obtain required documents, assembling and disassembling client charts, preparing closed cases for filing, filing, assisting with quality review, making copies, and assembling intake packets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform data entry tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Make copies as requested
  • Provide school contacts to the program team as directed and assist in obtaining documents and resources including, but not limited, to attendance files
  • Request documents via fax or mail from/for various entities within specified guidelines
  • Participate in FES team meetings when necessary
  • Organize and file closed cases per supervisor's instructions
  • Assist program staff with assembling client files upon opening a case and dissembling files upon case closure
  • Maintain department's inventory of office supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) and notify supervisor when supplies are running low
  • Support manager with quarterly compliance review
  • Relay any client concerns received to appropriate staff
  • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), crisis intervention and medication administration using agency-trained protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in an office setting
  • Non-profit human service experience highly preferred
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to solve problems and make decisions with guidance from supervisor
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions
  • Must be able to perform CPR using agency-trained protocols
  • Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated basic experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must possess a current, valid driver's license in state of residence, have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience within the United States, and have an acceptable driving record
