The Service Plumbing Specialist offers advanced technical expertise in assessing, testing, and repairing commercial plumbing systems. This role also supports departmental training initiatives aimed at enhancing team member knowledge and development. Additionally, the specialist helps ensure compliance with regulatory standards and fosters technical excellence within the service plumbing team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to plumbing technicians and project managers.
  • Assist in training and mentoring field personnel on plumbing best practices, safety protocols, and code compliance.
  • Support the development of internal training materials and technical resources.
  • Offer specialized expertise in system design, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal procedures related to plumbing system maintenance.
  • Stay informed on current regulations and industry developments impacting plumbing practices.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends and market shifts to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Education & Experience:



  • Demonstrated experience in plumbing service, repair, and code compliance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license is preferred.


Other Details:



  • This position will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN.
  • This position requires frequent travel, approximately 50%, to local and regional job sites.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with company's driving policy.
  • All offers of employment are expressly contingent upon the satisfactory completion, in accordance with Company policy, of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Compensation & Benefits:



  • Wages and other benefits are paid in accordance with the National Service and Maintenance Agreement (NSMA).
