Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. Chino Valley Medical Center is nationally recognized, locally preferred, and community focused. Responsibilities The Health Information Tech II assists physicians and other medical personnel in achieving timely, accurate, and complete documentation practices. The Tech II analyzes the assembled record for chart completion deficiencies, in accordance with regulatory requirements and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. The deficiencies are assigned to the appropriate medical staff member, and data entered for tracking and monitoring purposes. Medical Staff members are notified, and held accountable for these chart completion items. The Tech II will assist the medical staff member in their chart completion effort, but will carry out the suspension process if the medical staff member does not complete their records in a timely manner. Once the medical staff member addresses their documentation deficiencies or upon addition of a document to the analyzed record, the Tech II will review this documentation and update or clear the deficiencies as appropriate. The Tech II is also responsible for answering telephone calls and assisting visitors (including but not limited to physicians, patients, and their family members), while maintaining confidentiality. The Tech II will further support the department needs through assistance in any of the Tech I, Release of Information, or other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Work Experience

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $22.90. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
