| Position Summary |
This position provides administrative support to the Assistant Dean of the Tifton Campus by compiling information and preparing reports, handling information requests and performing relevant administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely with the Assistant Dean to ensure smooth operation of the Tifton Campus and the departments located on it and will act on behalf of the Assistant Dean as delegated. Specific duties include, but are not limited to handling confidential or sensitive information discreetly, scheduling appointments, creating agendas for meetings, assisting with campus events, handling multiple phone calls, taking minutes at meetings and composing correspondence of a routine nature. This position involves a great deal of organizational skill to keep the office running smoothly, as well as communication skills needed to professionally interact with all levels of University administrators, faculty, staff, agricultural and political groups, and the public. |

Administrative Support Manage the day to day activities, serving as the primary point of contact for the Assistant Dean of the Tifton Campus, including but not limited to scheduling, responding to and participating in all campus activities related to the Assistant Dean's office.
- Coordinate scheduling for the Assistant Dean with students, staff, faculty, administration, the general public, political and agribusiness leaders.
- Discreetly coordinate highly sensitive meetings that may need corrective action with regards to personnel matters.
- Schedule meeting space for college administration, campus personnel, political and agri-leaders, occasionally needing conference room set up to include refreshments and technical resources.
- Serve as a liaison among stakeholders, participants, parents and faculty to address concerns.
- Advise involved faculty and staff on updated policies and procedures; tactfully communicate changes in policy and practice.
- Organize, recruit, and assign faculty and staff to various campus committees; organize and oversee details of campus-wide events.
- Write, edit, and coordinate the preparation of reports, speeches and other material, including determining necessary content.
- Assist with campus events.
- Compose routine correspondence.
- Take minutes at meetings.

- Generate and maintain travel logs, expense reports, purchase requests, travel arrangements, reimbursements and other departmental records and reports.
P-Card
- Purchase supplies with p-card.
- P-Card allocations and sign-offs.
- Reconcile P-card statement.
Inventory
- Manage equipment inventory for the Assistant Dean's department.
- Manage office supply inventory for the Assistant Dean's Office.
