Compensation: $20.58 - $26.75 per hour

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs)

As a Security Administrative Assistant, you'll... The Security Administrative Assistant supports Tessera's Security Team and is a liaison supporting employees with great customer service. They provide administrative support to the team's internal operations as well as external customers by providing training, data entry, and confidential filing of forms. This position reports directly to the Security Manger/Facility Security Officer (FSO).

  • Assist with accurately compiling required information for submitting all security badge requests for Tessera employees, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Assist with compiling required information for submitting all vehicle pass requests for Tessera employees, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Assist, work to understand and retain knowledge about location and customer-specific security requirements for a broad range of government and commercial entities.

  • Assist with compiling the who/what/when/where details of a security incident and inputting the information into a report template to file accordingly.

  • Assist in returning any installation badges and/or access credentials to local visitor control centers as needed.

  • Assist with maintaining visitor control systems for various Tessera sites.

  • Data entry, scan, and file confidential security documents, as assigned, in designated secure locations.

  • Participate in an active company-wide Security Awareness and Education Program by providing large group security training and updates for employees as assigned to include but not limited to New Hire Orientation, Initial Security, Insider Threat and Foreign Travel briefings and debriefings.

  • Track security training status of all Tessera employees, vendors, and subcontractors via Workday and Teams.

  • Work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative office environment with occasional travel to other work sites.

  • Display excellent customer service, understanding and acting upon different needs of diverse customers internally and externally.

  • Utilize innovative thinking approaches to manage time more effectively and drive operational efficiency.

  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while staying focused on team goals and deadlines.

  • Research security-related subjects and/or matters as assigned and provide executive summaries to designated individuals.

  • Obtain and maintain eligibility to operate government systems and access government installations.

  • Communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, outside agencies, and the public.

  • All Other Duties as Assigned.

Summary of desired skills and experience for the Tessera Security Administrative Assistant:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required

  • 0 - 3 years of previous experience in administrative, customer service, or similar field is required.

  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.

  • Experience presenting or public speaking is preferred.

  • A valid state driver's license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
