Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to architect and position cybersecurity and network solutions that align with customer business objectives, leveraging the full breadth of Keysight's portfolio to drive successful outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Engagement & Discovery

    • Proactively uncover and understand customer pain points, business drivers, and technical requirements.
    • Translate customer needs into tailored solution strategies that demonstrate clear business value.
  • Technical Enablement & Demonstrations

    • Deliver compelling product and solution demonstrations that highlight differentiation and address specific use cases.
    • Lead Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, coordinating logistics, managing demo equipment, and ensuring technical success with customers, partners, and channels.
  • Pre-Sales Support & Responsiveness

    • Provide timely and thorough responses to technical inquiries, RFIs, and RFPs.
    • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, ensuring technical alignment and confidence.
  • Channel Partner Collaboration

    • Support partners in identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
    • Deliver enablement training to equip partners with the knowledge and tools to effectively position Keysight solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Engage with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to influence roadmap decisions and advocate for customer-driven feature enhancements.
    • Lead discussions around network architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud integration strategies.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Thought Leadership

    • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for specific product lines, maintaining a deep understanding of use cases, deployment models, and future direction.
    • Develop and deliver internal training to elevate team capabilities across business acumen, technical depth, and sales strategy.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years' experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering role preferred
  • 6+ years' experience in the fields of network or cyber security operations
  • Experience working with channel and technical partners preferred.
  • Proficiency with network and cyber security architectures.
  • Understanding of Cloud offerings such as VMware, OCI, AWS, Azure or Google.
  • Understanding of network visibility, i.e. concepts and architectures of packet brokers, tap/aggregation, and inline network security.
  • Hands-on experience with architecture/implementation of network or security solutions within the last 12 months.
  • API and/or scripting experience a plus

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN $210,390 - MAX $350,650
