Salesforce is looking for a highly motivated leader to manage the team responsible for proposing, developing, executing, tracking, and reporting on Programs in support of the Global Renewals Organization. These programs are focused on Preventing & Offsetting Attrition at time of Renewal at scale, and delivering better customer Retention/Growth outcomes. This leader will work cross functionally with the wider Sales, Renewals, Product, & Strategy teams to deliver targeted & measurable business outcomes that fuel our overall Renewals Strategy.

The role will require business analysis and Salesforce reporting work, as well as the ability to partner and collaborate with team members throughout Salesforce. This role will use data to evaluate business scenarios, plan efficiency initiatives, design processes, and deliver insights. Deliverables include sales strategy, identifying focus areas, program proposals, custom performance analysis, process documentation, reporting, and dashboards to presentation-ready content for senior Salesforce leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Global Renwal & Sales Leaders to mitigate attrition & drive growth at time of Renewal
  • Partner with OU Sales Programs Managers to scale Programs direct to the OUs
  • Drive accountability & impact across both the Renewals Programs Team & the Renewals Field Team
  • Identify and recommend areas of strategic focus
  • Propose, create, prioritize, execute, and report on the impact of Renewals Programs
  • Lead multiple complex and strategic projects to support revenue retention & growth
  • Partner with the business to align on goals, challenges, and data needed to support the strategy and proactively make recommendations
  • Provide management with scope, timeline, requirements, benefits, and return on investment for each project
  • Communicate risk clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies
  • Represent the Renewals team on broader cross-functional projects involving other parts of the business as needed
Desired Skills/Experience:

Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in Sales Strategy, Renewals Strategy, Business Operations, Strategic Finance, Consulting, or related fields
  • Experience building and leading high performing teams
  • Proven success in sales strategy or business operations related to business metrics, operations, and revenue growth
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

  • Confident communicator with attention to detail, oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to structure and transition complex problems to solutions
  • Outstanding problem solving skills: consistent track record to ask questions, structure sophisticated problems, develop solutions and recommendations
  • Building and delivering presentations to senior executives and translating data insights into concise and insightful executive summaries and presentations
  • Ability to see the big picture, innovate, and adapt to change
  • Knowledge of Salesforce products desired or experience with comparable enterprise business technology tools
  • Get it-done attitude with a strong sense of team spirit
  • Self-starter motivated to go above and beyond the task at hand and succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $161,500 to $234,300. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.
