WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Are you a professional in business process analysis with experience customizing and configuring ERP systems to align with business requirements and ensure the smooth operation of these systems? Do you have experience creating reports and dashboards? Waukesha County invites applications for an Analyst role in ERP administration and development. This position is tailored for professionals specializing in HRIS/Payroll Systems. The primary focus is, in collaboration with stakeholders, to support and enhance HR business processes, reporting, and system configuration.

Role Overview:

  • Collaboration and Influence: Work with a diverse range of stakeholders to refine business processes and optimize our ERP's capabilities. This role involves leadership to help drive strategic improvements.

  • Development and Configuration: Define and execute detailed business requirements within the ERP system to align with County needs. Implement custom configurations to enhance business value and operational efficiency.

  • Continuous Improvement: Apply problem-solving methodologies and lean improvement tools to refine existing processes, ensuring solutions are sustainable and scalable. Participate in new releases and manage smooth transitions.

  • Support and Documentation: Provide comprehensive support and training to system users. Manage enhancements, resolve issues, and document processes through manuals and digital content to ensure easy reference and effective training.

  • Customer Service and Excellence: Drive initiatives that deliver enhanced service quality and innovation by fostering high levels of satisfaction among internal stakeholders and service users.

What You Bring:

  • Expertise in ERP Systems: Demonstrated advanced proficiency in ERP software, encompassing configuration, function, and troubleshooting expertise through hands on experience.

  • Business Process Knowledge: Proven experience in HR, Payroll, and Finance process execution, with a track record of aligning system functionality with business strategy.

  • Communication Excellence: Strong skills in conveying complex technical concepts clearly to facilitate understanding, support change management, and deliver user training effectively.

  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Experience in working with diverse teams to overcome challenges and achieve desired outcomes within set timelines.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
2. Two (2) years of progressively responsible, professional work experience in in the area of budget preparation and review, accounting, cost accounting, financial reporting, or internal auditing.
3. A master's degree in an area listed above may be substituted for one (1) year of the work experience requirement.
