Location: This position is full-time on-site in Dover, NH.

Manufacturing Technician Summary:

This role supports Engineers and Manufacturing by assisting with product validation, tooling and equipment setup, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and gauge/device management.

Manufacturing Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Engineers in verification and validation of products through participation of IQ OQ PQ tasks.
  • Establish initial process parameters for new or revised tooling and equipment.
  • Support Engineering with troubleshooting of product and process difficulties.
  • Support Manufacturing by resolving tooling, equipment, and process parameter issues.
  • Support Engineers as assigned with tooling and equipment preparation for use including creating tool storage solutions and applying and documenting asset tags.
  • Complete preventative maintenance work orders for all tooling and equipment according to EIQ MRO module schedule.
  • Maintain 5S standards for the Critical Spare Parts Kanban.
  • Implement and maintain Gauges/Devices module for all new and existing Gages/Devices: Setup Gauge/Device overview, establish Calibration parameters, input R&R and Gage Studies data provided by Engineer, and link associated documentation (gage CMM reports, drawings, etc.).
  • Support Engineers as assigned to complete Gage R&Rs and MSAs.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Product Development Team Leader.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or needed.
Manufacturing Technician Qualification Requirements:
  • High school level education minimum.
  • Previous experience with tools and measurement devices, at least one year preferred.
  • Hands-on use of common hand tools and simple equipment; screwdriver, wrenches, drill, etc.
  • Hands-on use of measurement devices; micrometer, caliper, etc.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Correct interpretation of dimensions and basic GD&T.
  • Read and write simple work instructions, equipment procedures, etc.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English and be clearly understood.
  • Simple math skills; Add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers without a calculator.
  • Simple computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. with the ability to learn new ones.
