As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Manufacturing in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and attentive approach support a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This driving post requires you to navigate the site and respond promptly to situations as needed. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues as observed during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
• Follow established procedures for access control and visitor management at the location.
• Assist with emergency evacuation procedures and/or other site-specific emergency protocols as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
