As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech/Media/Telecom in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary focus will be on monitoring assigned areas and remaining highly visible while driving, fostering a secure environment for everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity using approved Allied Universal methods.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required for the technology and media environment.
• Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation and incident reporting, as directed by site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to the technology, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
