As a Security Professional - Full-Time Gallery Patrol 21+ in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a renowned cultural institution. Your role is to remain visible throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and staff, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive experience for all visitors and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including galleries, public spaces, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
• Document and communicate security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
