As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout an automotive location. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and employees. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving during your patrols. Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the dealership and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the auto dealership location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited actions.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents as required by post orders, including documenting information in reports for management and client review.
• Collaborate with site staff and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter undesirable activity and provide reassurance to employees and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
