Your Team, Your Impact As a hardware and silicon validation principal engineer at Marvell, you'll be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We also validate silicon photonics, do upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world.Storage Marvell is a leading provider of innovative storage technologies, including ultra-fast read channels, high-performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) Fiber Channel (FC) and solid-state drive (SSD) electronics markets. Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems. What You Can Expect Design and develop validation test plans. Perform validation and testing of Marvell's SSD controllers for DDR protocol, power, and electrical characterization. Define the memory subsystem validation plan and validation methodologies for Physical layer IP that supports DDR4 and DDR5 memory protocol technology. Plan and drive validation readiness and validation execution including debug of issues uncovered during validation cycle. Evaluate board design requirements, board schematics for correctness. Work closely with internal IP designers, engineers, and related product development teams to validate and test next-generation SSD controllers. Provide the appropriate electrical characterization, develop further test plans, define test methodologies, develop applicable firmware for testing, and characterize the controller. Define evaluation board design requirements and the schematics of the board and interface directly with the customers. Wage $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year. What We're Looking For Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include three (3) years with each of the following: * Electrical Validation and Functional Validation.
