Overview / Job Summary: The Construction Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in WSU Tech's Construction programs, including the Carpentry Technical Certificate and Associate of Applied Science in Construction Science. The instructor provides students with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and safety awareness necessary to succeed in the construction trades workforce. This role emphasizes hands-on learning in a lab/shop environment supported by classroom instruction. The instructor will guide students through the construction process-from foundational carpentry skills to advanced framing and finish techniques-while promoting professionalism, craftsmanship, and workplace safety. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
