Description
As a Power Systems Engineer III at MISO, you will analyze future operating conditions on the Bulk Electric System (BES) and determine the actions needed to support maintenance and the construction of new electrical facilities. You'll perform power-flow and stability studies at both the transmission and generation levels to ensure grid reliability. With access to some of the best tools in the industry, you'll help solve critical challenges as MISO prepares for the grid of the future. At least four years of relevant work experience We would also prefer candidates who have completed courses in Power Systems Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge. The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $106,000.00 - $131,000.00 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience. Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
