Structured Cabling Technician - New Albany, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st and 2nd shift available Additional Hours: Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required Location: New Albany, OH Overview: We're looking for technicians with a strong work ethic and interest in structured cabling. Whether you're entry-level or have hands-on experience, this role offers a chance to grow your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do: * Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling following TIA/EIA standards * Assist with RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations * Help with cable labeling and identification * Learn and perform basic punch-downs for telecom blocks * Support cable testing using tools like Fluke or EXFO (with guidance) * Gain exposure to fiber cable dressing and handling * Follow safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized work area * Take direction from experienced technicians and supervisors What You Bring: * Experience or interest in low-voltage cabling, installation, or construction * Familiarity with Cat5/Cat6 cabling and termination techniques * Ability to work in a construction or technical environment * Must not have worked in the META center within the last 6 months Top Skills: * Installation * Low voltage * Termination * Cat5/Cat6 cabling * Fiber handling * Construction experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
