We're looking for a Support Technician I to join our team - someone who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and keeping technology running smoothly. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for employees needing assistance with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies. Your work ensures our teams can operate efficiently and effectively every day.


What You'll Do


  • Serve as the first line of technical support, responding to requests via phone, email, or in-person.



  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly and professionally.



  • Log, track, and document support requests in the problem management system.



  • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, peripherals, and software applications.



  • Collaborate with higher-level technical staff for complex problem-solving.



  • Test and verify solutions to ensure successful outcomes.



  • Provide user training on hardware and software as needed.



  • Respond to occasional after-hours or weekend emergencies.



  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.



  • Support other duties as assigned to keep operations running at peak performance.




What You'll Bring


  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent experience.



  • 1+ year of help desk or technical support experience (manufacturing environment a plus).



  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and general PC/network troubleshooting.



  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.



  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.



  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regionally to ELLWOOD locations.
