Position description

The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco is seeking to recruit a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate HS Clinical Professor. Candidates should hold the M.D. degree and must be board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and Metabolism. Successful candidate will be involved in both inpatient consultation and outpatient activities in the Division covering all areas of endocrinology. In addition, specific opportunities exist for individuals interested in lipid disorders, diabetes, and bone health. The candidate will also participate in the educational and service activities of the Division.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 The minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200-$204,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
