Senior Financial Analyst

  • Location: Sun Prairie, WI

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office)

  • The salary range for this role is between $78,500- $113,500

The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to perform financial and budget analyses for assigned business lines, including evaluating financial data, performing trend analysis, and providing insights on budget variances. Additionally, the role will support reporting and analysis of competitor results, monitor competitor strategy, and provide value-adding reports to senior management. Strong analytical skills are essential to provide insights to support decision-making and effectively present performance data in a visually intuitive format.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of competitor analysis reporting and ensure alignment with senior management requirements.
  • Assist in producing timely, accurate, and insightful performance reports for senior management and business partners.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Develop standardized management reports for performance analysis against key profit drivers.
  • Prepare and maintain budgeting and forecasting tools for assigned business lines.
  • Analyze business results to identify future needs and implement process enhancements for increased efficiencies.
  • Provide financial data analysis and best practice solutions to support decision-making.
  • Liaise with divisional teams to ensure timely and consistent data provision.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of the management information system.
  • Demonstrate cultural expectations and influence others to promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management or related field required.
  • 3+ years of financial planning, consolidation, forecasting experience
  • Experience presenting financial results to executive leadership team
  • Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Balance sheet, cash flow and income statement model consolidation experience required
  • Knowledge and application of sound accounting principles
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP or Hyperion experience
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Master's Degree

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.We encourage all candidates to apply, even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range, as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
