Senior Sales Executive - Audit Workflow

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Sales Executive to drive growth within our Tax & Accounting Professionals Audit Workflow segment. This role is responsible for expanding our client base, deepening relationships with existing customers, and delivering consultative, ROI-driven solutions. As a senior member of the sales team, you will lead complex sales cycles, influence cross-functional initiatives, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating audit transformation.

About the Role

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will own a defined territory and be accountable for both new business acquisition and retention. You'll lead high-impact conversations with accounting professionals, uncovering business needs and aligning our audit solutions to drive measurable outcomes. You'll collaborate with a dedicated account team-including Sales Development Representatives, Customer Success Managers, and Solutions Consultants-to execute strategic growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve and exceed monthly sales and renewal targets.

Lead consultative sales engagements, tailoring presentations and proposals to client-specific needs.

Demonstrate deep product knowledge and articulate value through ROI justification.

Leverage market intelligence to inform territory strategy and identify growth opportunities.

Resolve customer issues with professionalism and urgency to maintain strong relationships.

Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and report performance.

Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Use sales automation tools and data insights to accelerate sales cycles.

About You

You are a high-performing sales professional with a proven track record in SaaS and consultative selling. You bring a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are highly organized, and excel at building trust with clients.
You have:
3+ years of successful SaaS sales experience in an Account Executive or Senior Sales role.

Expertise in consultative selling and navigating complex sales cycles.

Strong prospecting, closing, and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

High proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.

A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a continuous learning mindset.

High integrity and a strong understanding of sales ethics.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $178,500 - $331,500.
This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
