As a member of the Professional Services team, we strive to find a team-player and a problem-solver to contribute to the successful implementation of the ServiceMax product suite. We are seeking an ambitious, self-starter with impressive communication skills and technical curiosity to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to support the overall success of the client community.

Salesforce knowledge is highly desired in this role however, your key to success is having an aptitude for learning new technologies as you learn how to leverage Salesforce to best creatively design, prototype, and implement solutions for the diverse needs of your customer projects. Collaboration is also key, so you will look for ways to share and source best practices, contributing to the overall success of the Professional Services team. If there is a new way to solve a problem that that improves outcomes for clients, you will be the one to identify that solution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members, build solutions in SFDC that support business requirements
  • Participate in appropriate discovery, planning, and strategy sessions to support business objectives
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform
  • Utilize SFDC data structure to meet complex process and reporting requirements
  • Work collaboratively with other functional and technical project team members to ensure a successful and timely project delivery
  • Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
  • Perform ongoing Salesforce administration and development
  • Support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals
  • Monitor Salesforce.com usage for compliance and maintain security
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ Years of experience in software implementation and consulting in a commercial software environment
  • Ability to learn software and technology quickly in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience implementing enterprise level business application software solutions
  • Experience and creativity in troubleshooting business process and software problems
  • Experience providing end user and project team training on-site or in the field at customer locations
  • Ability to take ownership of and follow through on all project related issues
  • Impeccable communication skills and the ability to interface with peers, clients, prospects, and executives
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with a customer satisfaction mindset
  • Technically curious with a hands-on knowledge of web programming languages (JavaScript, HTML, XML, etc.) and/or cloud-based application delivery
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with customers and partners without detailed day to day supervision
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • 1+ Salesforce Certifications
  • 1+ years of Salesforce or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience
  • Experience with relational databases or data models
  • Experience with Energy, Environmental or Industrial Services businesses a definite plus
  • Advanced skills in business management tools including: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project and Access

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate's background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the annual salary range for this position to be between $63,000-95,000. The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC's benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy.
