Job Summary:

The Manager, Insights & Analytics - PPD is responsible for the development and execution of data-driven strategies to optimize engagement and outreach for PPD initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing data, refining audience segmentation, and measuring campaign performance to enhance commercial operation strategies and effectiveness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Develops and presents actionable insights to commercial leadership by monitoring and analyzing data sources, promotional activity, and competitive intelligence.
  • Leads customer analytics for the PPD business unit, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  • Conducts ad hoc analyses for the Commercial using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Develops Healthcare Provider (HCP) segmentation and target strategies to optimize sales force effectiveness.
  • Creates and maintains accurate sales reporting tools.
  • Supports Incentive Compensation function by delivering aligned sales data and metrics.
  • Collaborates with sales leadership to design, maintain, and adjust territory alignments using mapping software.
  • Serves as the point of contact for field teams, addressing data, process, and system inquiries.
  • Performs territory/account research to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Manage relationships, communications, and interactions with data suppliers and processors.
  • Provides oversight and leadership in cross-functional project teams.
  • Participates in New Hire sales training and leads the IST customer management workshop.


Knowledge & Other Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
  • Two years of experience in pharmaceutical sales targeting and segmentation required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with expert level Excel skills required (pivots, macros, V/X lookups).
  • Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, VEEVA, or similar preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to recognize and adapt to change and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the findings associated with data analysis or team member questions.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:



  • Travel Requirements: 25% Travel.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carry objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.



Compensation:

At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $100,000 to $128,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience, and organizational needs.

Base salary is one part of the overall compensation package, which includes the opportunity to participate in employee stock purchase programs and performance-based bonus programs.
