JOIN THE TEAM COMMITTED TO DRIVING YOUR CAREER FORWARD Job Type: Full timeExempt/Non Exempt: Job Description: Travel Finance & Reporting Analyst - The Auto Club Group What you will do: This is a Temp position, with a rate of pay of $22 - $25 an hour. Provides financial and reporting support to travel delivery system employees for all regions within the company. Maintains travel-related financial data on various automated systems. Troubleshoots and corrects front-line agent entry errors. Performs weekly and monthly reconciliation of revenue accounts, receivables and payables to ensure accuracy. Ensures that reconciled items are cleared on a timely basis. Resolves journal entry error and audit error logs. Maintains cash activity records. Performs weekly balancing of general ledger accounts and performs account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Balances revenue accounts from travel system to PeopleSoft general ledger and determines root cause of any discrepancies. Completes all month end activities in accordance with established deadlines, including reconciliations, incentive compensation, revenue reporting and system balancing. Validates completeness and accuracy of travel accounting system components and reports. Tests and documents data output. Identifies reporting needs and submits requirements for coding to better identify agent and back-office reporting gaps. Makes recommendations on report modifications for front line users and senior management. Functions as subject matter expert regarding travel accounting system. Works closely with field and club personnel as well as Travel Processing staff to identify problem areas. Analyzes and recommends improvements to business processes and systems. Communicates with vendors to identify and resolve system problems as indicated and initiates corrective action. Participates in special projects, system testing, and updates as requested by management personnel. Performs audits of agent revenue accounts and apprises management of potential Code of Conduct violations. Monitors changes in agent revenue and identifies potential trends. Reviews all changes requested by Branch personnel to determine if requested action is appropriate and in compliance with ACG and/or Travel policies. Work Environment This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote). Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come in to an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities.
