Description Blaze is looking for an Assistant Vice President Controller who will manage the Accounting Department and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports such as internal financial statements, external financial statements and the NCUA 5300 Call Report. This position will be located at our Westminster office and does have bonus potential. Major Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the activities of the Accounting Department and ensure the information produced is accurate and timely.
Summarize and forecast credit union business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations
Provide leadership, training and development of assigned staff to retain a motivated, service oriented, and professional work force for the credit union.
Monitor trends and changes in compliance laws, rules and regulations in participation with Blaze's internal Risk Management Committee to ensure Blaze remains compliant in all areas of responsibility.

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $143,000 - $178,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement. | |
