As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while offering a visible presence to support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
• Report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
