We are presently seeking aSr. Manager - M&A Integration who will work out of our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. and is committed to ensuring overall business success and corporate governance. We excel at delivering innovative and customized components, sub-assemblies and fully integrated photonic systems to meet the unique illumination, optronic, sensing and optical technology needs of global OEM customers.

We are seeking an execution-focused professional to lead the IT and business integration efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures - initially focused on the infrastructure integration of mid-sized M&A acquisitions. This role will be responsible for coordinating the technical integration of infrastructure Excelitas' enterprise landscape, ensuring business continuity and operational efficiency throughout the transition. The incumbent will operate within the Infrastructure and Operations team - bringing expertise in Networking, Servers / Storage, Office365 and PC domains as we as working with leads in these areas to quickly and efficiently integrate acquisitions into Excelitas. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership and technical acumen with a collaborative, pragmatic mindset.

Main responsibilities:



  • Integration Planning & Execution
    Develop, own, and manage comprehensive integration plans across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity; lead delivery through all phases of L1 migration
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, business operations) to ensure alignment on standards, timelines, and execution of integration objectives
  • Business Continuity
    Ensure that core functionality and operational capabilities are preserved during system transitions, with minimal disruption to the acquired entity and its customers
  • Technical & Strategic Leadership
    Provide thought leadership to IT and business teams on bridging disparate technologies, standards, and platforms - especially where legacy systems or carve-out complexities exist
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Represent the integration program in senior leadership discussions and report on risks, progress, and value realization
  • Vendor & Resource Management
    Leverage internal and external resources to augment capabilities; manage third-party providers to support execution


Requirements:



  • Minimum 7 years of relevant IT or M&A integration experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree in business, IT, or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in leading integrations or carve-outs, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial technology environment
  • Proficiency with enterprise platforms and tools such as Microsoft 365, Cisco or other common Infrastructure platforms
  • Strong technical acumen in cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud technologies
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence at all levels, and deliver complex, cross-functional programs on time and within scope
