Product Manager

This position is hybrid, based 3 days a week at our Andover, MA location.

The Product Manager leads the strategic and operational execution of a product line throughout its lifecycle, including sustaining engineering initiatives. It combines product ownership with program management responsibilities to ensure profitable growth, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of medical device products.

• Own the product lifecycle and positioning for a product line, driving growth and market relevance.
• Develop and maintain product line roadmaps and business plans. Co-lead cross-functional teams (CFTs) through development, usability, validation, and market release phases.

• Manage sustaining engineering projects, including planning, execution, and closure. Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards
• Lead CFTs across product and sustaining initiatives. Direct and prioritizes activities related to design change requests (DCRs), documentation, and project risk mitigation.
• Serve as the "face of the project," communicating performance metrics, decisions, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure complete and compliant documentation (DHF, QMS) for both new and sustaining projects. Represent the company professionally in audits.
• Analyze global market trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and sustaining priorities.
• Lead product training for field teams and support marketing efforts with launch materials and customer presentations.

Education:

BS/BA in technical or business discipline (ME/EE/SW/Biomedical/Systems); MBA or MS preferred.

Related Experience:

• 2-5 years in product management and/or program management in medical devices.
• Business experience gained working across multiple departments for more than 6 years, preferably in other stations than program/project management, preferably with one experience of manufacturing, engineering, quality and portfolio/product management as they apply to projects.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Contractor and supplier management experience.

• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Skilled in regulatory compliance, structured development processes, and sustaining engineering.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.

Compensation:

The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $115,000-$125,000. We note that the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
