Primary Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the RBG Mission Critical Program Consultant involve both internal and external management consulting services. Internal consulting will include supporting the business processes, communication, and other organizational needs of our RBG data center services. This role will require working closely with the RBG Mission Critical Lead to implement a new organizational structure and processes that will require collaborating across the company. HDR is a matrix organization, requiring extensive soft skills, internal collaboration, and communication. External consulting includes serving as a project manager or deputy project manager on client facing projects.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Support the RBG Mission Critical Lead with developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring new organizational structure, processes, governance, and training for RBG staff supporting data center projects.
  • Provide program coordination in support of quality, schedules, and resources.
  • Serve as project manager or deputy project manager on data center due diligence and planning projects.
  • Coordinate communication needs and maintain team SharePoint site.
  • Participate in internal planning meetings in support of the RBG Mission Critical Lead.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing teams and working across multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Proven implementation of process improvements as well as monitoring and adapting through change management processes.
  • Knowledgeable with tools used to enhance business organization and communication including dashboards, SharePoint, PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Project manager on planning and/or due diligence projects in fast-paced and unpredictable environment, nexus between power and data centers a plus.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Efficient use of the internet and other electronic and hard copy media for research
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project and Visio skills
  • Expert Microsoft Access and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present summary level information
  • Ability to obtain, cleanse, merge and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter with proven track record of accomplishments
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
