Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and staying visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring different areas while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or situations to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with the public and provide assistance as needed within the retail or mall environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
