Security Officer - Government Facility Driver

As a Security Officer - Government Facility Driver in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed officer in a government location, you will monitor designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a strong, visible presence. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random checks around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, property damage, or maintenance needs during rounds.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following communication protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and any interactions with visitors or staff.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as any regulations specific to the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and driving experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
