What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper protocols and communication methods.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious, unsafe, or unusual activity that occurs in or around the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel as needed to address security-related matters and support a secure environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.
• Support site operations by providing guidance to customers and staff as needed, and responding to requests for security-related assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
