About the Role

We are seeking Tech 3, Bakery Maintenance to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Tech 3, you will ensure bakery production equipment and facility systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently to support consistent output, food safety compliance, and overall production performance.



Shift & Schedule



  • Shift: 2nd
  • Hours: 2PM - 10:30PM
  • Weekend availability: Required



Compensation



  • Hourly Rate: $33 - $37



Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)



  • Maintain and repair bakery production equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Conduct routine inspections and address mechanical, electrical, and controlrelated issues
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all sanitation and safety protocols
  • Complete accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and SAP entries
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and food safety procedures consistently
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment performance initiatives
  • Partner with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment concerns



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food or bakery manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with reasonable accommodation as needed
  • Ability to work safely in fastpaced, hot, and noisy production environments
  • Strong communication and documentation skills



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Experience with bakeryspecific equipment such as fermentation or bun production systems
  • Experience working in GMP/HACCPregulated environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across maintenance, production, and quality teams
  • Strong problemsolving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to adapt to changing production demands and priorities
