As a Security Professional - Education Facility Patrol in La Crescenta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact positively with students, staff, and visitors, and address security-related concerns with professionalism. Your strong customer service skills and attention to detail will be key in upholding a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure campus environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as instructed by site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when necessary, and helping to maintain orderly conduct during school events or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Holding a current Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
