As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in East Chicago, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those on-site. Your role includes delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication as you interact with employees and visitors. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions while maintaining a security-related presence in the assigned area.
• Participate in site-specific training and follow all procedures established for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
