What does a Maintenance Production Technician Lead do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In the production plant, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general facility maintenance. The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, disassemble and troubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high speed automated production machinery, and other manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Technician Lead position will also be supportive of all technicians on production lines and facility support equipment (i.e. water treatment, boilers, air compressors). The lead position will assist the maintenance management team, planners and parts coordinator as needed. The lead position will be required to perform the duties listed on this document as well.


Job Details:
Pay: $33.28 - $41.60 / Hr
Location: This will be at our Bellevue, WA plant.


Responsibilities



  • Operate with technical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system. This is for inventory and production line operational excellence
  • Clean tools, parts and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance
  • Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for lean supply chain process initiatives and improvement
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area
  • Quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment within the facility
  • Able to train, teach and mentor current mechanics as well as new hires
  • Ability to communicate effectively with mechanics, operators, and management
  • Basic computer usage i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and SAP
  • Willingness to work with other departments implementing new procedures, processes and policies.


Requirements



  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
  • Trade School certified preferred
  • Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment; a variety of skills needed
  • Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Welding, Fabrication, docks and doors, security systems
  • Production Facility repairs as assigned.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred
  • Have a good work attendance history
  • Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Base pay range is $33.28 to $41.60 plus bonus structure (dependent on role) . Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
