Junction Custodian-Center at Junction 42863BR Junction Position Description Employees in this classification are responsible for the performance of manual work involving the cleaning and care of buildings. Work is performed under supervision according to established procedures and methods, and is checked frequently and evaluated for the accomplishment of assigned tasks. About the Department and/or College The Office of Outreach and Engagement TTU Office of Outreach and Engagement was established to provide innovative, collaborative and strategic leadership and support for the university's strategic priority of engagement with communities across the region, state, nation and the world. Engagement includes members of the university and the community working together to address a community need or pressing societal issue. The units included in the Office of Outreach and Engagement include the Ranching Heritage Center, the Museum of Texas Tech, the TTU Press, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and TTU Center at Junction. Major/Essential Functions We seek candidates for this position with custodial experience. The position requires cleaning center facilities including but not limited to housing units, restrooms, bath house and laundering linens. Other custodial duties may be assigned as needed and required. Required Qualifications Requires the ability to understand simple written and verbal instructions.
